Gloria Dyer - PRINCIPAL
F.M.I.D.A | F.B.T.D.A
Gloria founded Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow in 1962 whilst still at school herself. Although she trained as a nursery nurse, her true passion was always dance, and she has dedicated more than six decades to inspiring young performers and providing children with a safe, welcoming environment where they can learn, grow and build confidence.
Throughout her performing career, Gloria appeared at many prestigious venues and productions. One of her proudest achievements was choreographing a spectacular tap routine to Fascinating Rhythm at the London Palladium, featuring 200 children. She also performed in Junior Showtime alongside Bonnie Langford and appeared in numerous pantomimes with well-known entertainers, including Jimmy Tarbuck and the late Tommy Trinder.

Over the years, Gloria has created countless performance opportunities for Lenvon students. Pupils have performed at venues including The Grosvenor Hotel, taken part in charity events supporting underprivileged children, and danced with Roy Castle in support of the Make A Wish Foundation. Many former students have gone on to successful careers within the performing arts, while countless others have developed confidence, friendships and lifelong memories through their time at Lenvon.

Giving back to the community has always been at the heart of Gloria's work. Through Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow, thousands of pounds have been raised for charitable causes, including helping to send a local child with an incurable illness and their family to Disneyland, supporting Sunshine Babies for the Blind, and funding incubators for local hospitals.
Today, Gloria continues to oversee the school as Principal, ensuring that the values on which Lenvon was founded remain at the heart of everything it does. She firmly believes that every child should be encouraged to reach their full potential, regardless of ability, and that happiness, confidence and wellbeing are just as important as performance success. If a future star emerges along the way, it is simply a wonderful bonus.

Erica Janes - HEAD TEACHER

Erica Janes has been part of Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow since the age of three. As one of Gloria’s daughters, she has grown up with the school, taking part in examinations, performances, competitions and charity events before becoming Head Teacher.
Erica is fully qualified in a range of dance disciplines, holding fellowships in Tap, Modern, Ballet and Lyrical. Throughout her performing career, she has appeared at prestigious venues including the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall, Sadler’s Wells and Her Majesty’s Theatre, as well as performing in pantomimes, taking part in a Disney workshop at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and performing at Disneyland Paris.

As a teacher and choreographer, Erica has inspired hundreds of young performers. She has choreographed numerous Lenvon productions and routines, with students performing her work at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall and London’s West End stages. Erica is known for her fair, supportive and nurturing approach, helping students build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy their love of dance.
Outside of Lenvon, Erica works within a specialist educational setting supporting children and young adults with additional needs. She is trained in Makaton Signing and is passionate about making dance accessible for every child.

Erica holds an Enhanced DBS certificate, is a Fully Qualified First Aider and is a licensed Chaperone.
Hayley Miller - TEACHER
Specialises in Ballet & Musical Theatre

Hayley Miller has been part of Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow for over 30 years as a ballet teacher, bringing with her a wealth of professional performance experience and a lifelong passion for dance.
Hayley trained at Arts Educational School in London and began her professional career at a young age. Between the ages of 9 and 13, she performed in the West End production of Annie, playing the roles of Molly, Duffy and July, as well as understudying the role of Annie. At 17, Hayley performed in Gypsy, followed by West End productions including Me and My Girl, 42nd Street and Annie Get Your Gun.
As a qualified Ballet and Lyrical teacher, Hayley also teaches Tap and Musical Theatre. Her extensive theatre background, combined with her years of teaching experience, allows her to inspire students with both technical training and a genuine love for performing. Hayley continues to share her knowledge and experience with Lenvon students, helping them develop confidence, performance skills and a passion for dance.
Hayley holds an Enhanced DBS certificate, is a Fully Qualified First Aider and is a licensed Chaperone.

FELICITY FUNNELL - TEACHER

Felicity Funnell has been part of Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow since the age of two. Growing up through the school, she trained through competitions, shows and graded examinations, developing a strong foundation in dance and a true passion for performing.
​
One of Felicity’s proudest achievements was representing England in a production of Coppélia with the English Youth Ballet, after successfully auditioning against hundreds of other dancers.
Felicity began teaching at the age of 16 and continues to inspire students today. She supports classes, helps create routines for shows and festivals, and encourages students throughout their training and development.
Having experienced the Lenvon journey herself, Felicity understands the importance of building confidence, developing skills and creating a positive environment for young performers.
Felicity holds an Enhanced DBS certificate, is a licensed Chaperone and is First Aid trained.
HARRY JANES - TEACHER & ADMINISTRATION

Harry Janes has grown up with Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow, joining the school from the age of four. Having experienced the school as a student, Harry continues to be involved in Lenvon as a Senior Dancer, taking part in classes, examinations, performances and productions, while developing his own skills as a performer and teacher.
​
In 2022, Harry began teaching at Lenvon and continues to support students across classes, festivals and productions. In 2025, he took on responsibility for the school’s administration, supporting the smooth running of Lenvon behind the scenes. He manages enquiries and communications, supports administration, oversees social media and helps organise festivals, shows and productions.
​
Alongside teaching and administration, Harry contributes creatively to Lenvon’s performances, helping to develop routines, production ideas and effects that bring shows to life. Through his work, he enjoys helping students build confidence, develop their skills and experience the opportunities that performing arts can provide.​ Harry continues to develop his knowledge and experience within the performing arts industry, building on the skills gained through his years at Lenvon and his passion for performance, creativity and organisation.
Harry holds an Enhanced DBS certificate, is a licensed Chaperone and is First Aid trained.
YVONNE WHARFE - COSTUME & FINANCE

Yvonne Wharfe opened Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow alongside Gloria in 1962. Before establishing Lenvon, Yvonne taught at Gloria’s aunt’s dance school, The Crest School of Dancing, before the two joined together to create the school that continues to inspire young performers today.
​
Throughout her performing career, Yvonne appeared in numerous pantomimes and excelled in acrobatics at a time when the skill was highly sought after. She and Gloria performed together at many events alongside well-known stars, creating a lifelong friendship and shared passion for dance.
​
After taking a break from the school, Yvonne returned to Lenvon, bringing her creativity, experience and dedication back to the team. She is now known for her incredible work behind the scenes, managing the school’s costumes and finance.
​
Over the years, Yvonne has designed and created more than 10,000 colourful costumes for Lenvon productions, helping bring performances to life. Her work has been showcased on prestigious stages and at major events, including the Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre, London’s West End stages and dance festivals. Yvonne continues to play an important role within Lenvon, supporting the school’s continued success and helping create the magical experiences that students and audiences remember.

HAYLEY FUNNELL - ADMINISTRATION

Hayley Funnell has been part of Lenvon Stars of Tomorrow since the age of three. As one of Gloria’s daughters, she has grown up through the school, training in dance and taking part in examinations, performances and competitions before becoming an important part of the Lenvon team behind the scenes.
​
Hayley’s strongest subject was Tap, where she achieved numerous awards and medals throughout her training. She has performed at prestigious venues including Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells, the London Palladium, the Royal Albert Hall, Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
​
Today, Hayley supports the administration side of Lenvon, helping organise uniform, supporting festival preparations and assisting with events throughout the year. Her experience as both a former student and performer gives her a valuable understanding of the opportunities and experiences Lenvon provides.

Hayley holds an Enhanced DBS certificate and is a licensed Chaperone.
