International Dance Rewards

At Lenvon, we’re proud to use the International Dance Rewards (IDR) scheme to celebrate our students’ progress. Throughout the term, teachers carefully observe each child in class, noting their effort, attitude, and development. When a student reaches their next milestone, they’re recognised with a certificate to treasure and a badge to proudly wear on their uniform jumper.

How it Works

The IDR programme is a structured reward system designed especially for dance schools. It supports every stage of a dancer’s journey, recognising not only technical ability and performance skills but also positive qualities like presentation, behaviour, and commitment.

Because the scheme is assessed informally by teachers during normal classes, it provides a stress-free alternative to examinations. It’s a great way to motivate children as they prepare for future exams—or to acknowledge progress for those who may not take exams at all.

Suitable for every age group, from our youngest dancers through to Grade 5, the system is flexible enough to suit schools and studios of all sizes. Much like award systems used in sports such as gymnastics and swimming, IDR makes it easy to encourage students, track their progress, and celebrate achievements at every step of their training.
